Andy spent the first 4 years of his life in Luton where he was born, then spent a majority of his years growing up in Essex with his two older brothers.

A keen performer, he studied ‘A’ level performing arts at college and got his first job at the ‘Millennium Dome’ as a character host and street performer, he then went to Italy and worked with children at the Italian schools taking workshops and performing plays for 3 months.

After that Andy went travelling for a year and every year from then he has tried to get away to visit and explore different countries. He loves a good adventure and a bit of a challenge, he has run the London marathon, climbed the three peaks in 24 hours, sky dived, paraglided, and likes to surf (although not very good) He also loves camping!

Andy started his TV career hosting ‘Cash House’ a TV quiz show for Friendly TV production company. This happened for a year, but his passion was always in Children’s TV.

Then the audition for a Cbeebies presenter came up and the rest is history. In 2009 He was nominated for a ‘Bafta’ in the ‘Best Presenter’ category.

Andy went on to host his own show ‘Andy’s Wild Adventures’ for Cbeebies, made by the Natural History Unit in Bristol. After great success and the programme being nominated for a BAFTA, ‘Andy’s Dinosaur Adventures’ was made. Andy is filming ‘Andy’s Prehistoric Adventures’ in the summer 2015.

Dick wittington Andy has performed many live shows with his best pal and comedy partner Mike such as, ‘Andy and Mikes Big Box bananas’ and ‘Andy and Mikes Tick Tock Time Machine’ which were sell out shows at Edinburgh festival in 2009 and 2011 and then toured up and down the UK.

He has also performed in many pantomimes such as ‘Dandini’ in Cinderella, ‘Ugly Sister’ in Cinderella, ‘Smee’ in Peter pan, ‘Captain Crabstick’ in ‘Dick Whittington’ at the ‘Sheffield Lyceum’ and is due to perform as ‘Muddles’ in ’Snow white and the seven dwarfs’ at the ‘Bristol Hippodrome’ 2015.

Andy is releasing his debut album ‘Andy and the odd socks, who invited this lot’ this year at the end of the summer, with ‘Bunkersonix’ (tv and film music producers) which he co-wrote with them and is hoping to make it a series on TV and a live show in the near future. Andy loves working in Children’s TV and loves music but his second passion would have to be film, and hopes that he can take on film roles in the future. In his free time he likes to play on the ukulele and practice juggling, badly.
